2. How many children does Future have?
Future currently has six children by six different mothers. He pays lots of child support! He has sons with Ciara, Jessica Smith and Brittni - and has a daughter with India J. Another woman called Joie Chavis is currently pregnant with his next child, while another woman called Eliza Reign is also claiming she's pregnant with his 6th child.

5. How did Future get his big break?
Future started his career as a songwriter, penning hooks for fellow Atlanta artists such as Ludacris. However his big break came in 2011 when he wrote YC's hit single 'Racks'. The song took off, with major artists such as Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Nelly choosing to remix the anthem.

Dirty Sprite, also known as 'Lean' or 'Purple Drank', is a drug-infused concoction that contains cough syrup among other ingredients. Despite rumours of the drink having negative side-effects, Future is a big fan and named his first LP 'Dirty Sprite' and his third studio album 'Dirty Sprite 2'.

Future was engaged to Ciara and had a son with her called Future Zahir. However the rapper broke off the engagement in August 2014, three months after he was born. 9. Did Future write Beyonce's 'Drunk In Love'?
Although Future doesn't appear on the credits for the song, he was responsible for much of the melody. According to the song's producer Detail, Future initially recorded the song for his own album ‘Honest’ but plans changed after Detail heard Beyonce was interested. When she used the song for her album, Future used the melody he created for the track, on his own song 'Good Morning'.

10. Future is heavily influenced by Jimmy Hendrix.
He cities one of his big inspirations as 70s Rock legend Jimmy Hendrix. As well as referring to himself as 'Future Hendrix', the rapper told Elle: "[I respect him] for just being a black artist in rock n' roll and be able to step outside and create, and make great music. And just be different. Just a different breed. And that's what I love about Jimi Hendrix's music—the way he plays the guitar is so different. He's just an icon all around."

11. Has Future been shot?
Yes, Future got shot in the hand when he was a teenager. He told MTV: "When I was around 14 or 15, I got into the streets heavy and I got shot in my right hand. When I got shot, I stopped playing basketball and went harder hustling."

13. What is Future's relationship with DJ Esco?
DJ Esco is one of Future's best friends and business partners. Esco played a big part in helping Future rise to success. As the resident DJ at influential Atlanta strip club 'Magic City', he used to play lots of exclusive music by Future to judge how good the songs were, using the reaction of the strippers as a guide.

14. Was Future responsible for Drake's single 'Started From The Bottom'?
Future once revealed that he accidentally inspired Drake's 2013 hit 'Started From The Bottom'. He told LA Leakers: "When Drake made the record, he was in a studio session with me [and] I always tell my engineer 'start it from the bottom'". Apparently Drizzy mistook it for the name of Future's song and had the phrase stuck in his head. When he realised it wasn't Future's song he made his own.

15. What does FBG mean?
FBG are the initials of Future's crew and record label 'Free Band Gang'. There are currently 14 members including DJ Esco. On his surprise 'WATTBA' collaborative mixtape with Drake, he joined the initials with Drake's 'Octobers Very Own' team to create supergroup 'FBGOVO'.

16. Future was heavily influenced by The Dungeon Family as a child.
Future is the cousin of Atlanta music mogul Rico Wade and spent much of his childhood in the studio watching legendary group The Dungeon Family. He developed his ear for melody from them, as well as a work-ethic which helped him to succeed.

17. Future's original rap name was 'Meathead'.
Members of The Dungeon Family initially referred to him as 'Meathead The Phuture'. However as he gained more success he understandably dropped the first name and altered the second.

18. Future and Drake's first collaboration was on a track called 'Tony Montana'.
Drizzy first linked up with Future in 2011 on one of his breakout singles called 'Tony Montana', which was about the fictional character from gangster movie 'Scarface'. Drake added a hot verse to the official remix using Future's signature flow.

19. Future's '56 Nights' mixtape was dedicated to DJ Esco's Dubai jail sentence.
While on tour, Future's DJ was arrested in Dubai for possession of illegal substances in 2014. Esco spent 56 nights in a prison cell. When he was released, Future and Esco were inspired by the experience to make a mixtape together.

Although Future was caught up in negative street activity as a child, he also loved attending school. He told MTV: "Words always intrigued me... when I went to school, I would read Shakespeare and just fell in love with how he mixed his words. I started playing around and writing poems, reading poems... then I started listening to [rapper] Too Short... I learned all his songs."
